Wedding decorations?

How many are opting for artifical floral arrangements? I%26#039;m a defiantly having fresh flowers for bouquets and boutonnieres, but found beautiful centerpieces made with artificial flowers. Do you think artificial flowers are tacky?

Wedding decorations?
I had artificial flowers at my wedding, even my bouquet. My mother made them all using silk flowers from Michaels. They were absolutely beautiful and everyone complimented them. You couldn%26#039;t even tell they were fake unless you were very close (Some people who saw my pics asked what florist I used, heheh). And we saved a ton of money! So, no, not tacky at all. :)
Reply:they are very much so tacky! i hate going to weddings and seeing fake flowers. too me i think fresh flowers are gorgeous and really they are not that expensive if you plan correctly on what to use and etc. even if it is just a single long stem rose in a vase on a table for a centerpiece is a lot prettier then a fake arrangement.
Reply:buy what you can afford. they do have some tacky silk flowers, but they also have some that you can hardly tell are fake. I will say, check the price of both. sometimes the prices are very near the same.
Reply:If you like then its all that matters. Plus you can save some if you want! If they look real and you like then then defiantly go for it. You can even recreate your bouquet to match in silk as a keepsake!
Reply:A lot of people use Silk Flowers for decorations!!! I%26#039;ve put together weddings that use fake Trees!!!!! You can always lay some flower pedals around the tables to help contrast the real and fake!!!
Reply:Not tacky at all. Beautiful, lasting, and can be used afterwards.
Reply:Not at all, they can be beautiful and are a great way to save on money. I%26#039;m doing ALL of my floral stuff with artificial.
